Shivan was addressing a webinar. It was organized by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES). He said that ISRO will also share its technology with the private sector and will also provide them an opportunity to use its facilities.
He said, "We will help them fully and will work to bring them to the level of ISRO so that all the industrial works that ISRO is doing so far can be handed over to the industries and we will do our best in the new quest of future." Shivan said, as part of the reforms to open up India's space sector, announced the establishment of 'Indian Space Promotion and Authority (In-Space) to facilitate the private sector to participate in all space activities. Has been.
It will be an autonomous body that works under the Department of Space and will be the apex agency to regulate and monitor the use of ISRO facilities for space activities.
