Skyroot's launch of India's 1st privately developed rocket Vikram-S delayed

The Vikram-S will be powered by the Kalam 80 propulsion system that will ignite the three-stage rocket to space.

Skyroot Aerospace, a space tech start-up has delayed the launch of its maiden mission from November 15. Vikram-S, India's first privately developed rocket will now launch between November 15-19 with three payloads on a technological demonstration flight. The company is yet to announce the final date.


Skyroot had earlier announced that the Prarambh mission with the Vikram-S rocket and three payloads will launch on Tuesday. The mission is set to launch from India Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota to space to validate the home-grown rocket, system, and designs for future missions.
